The second half picked up as her tone and subject matters matured as she began to correspond with Bloomsbury members such as Clive Bell, Lytton Strachey and her sister Vanessa. I am still working my way thru this volume 1, having ordered all 6 volumes of the Letters. I have also been reading Woolf's diaries. It is a joy to read her work, the diaries letters are particularly illuminating. Woolf was a prodigious writer AND reader - I love the insights into her intriguing life.
